陕西科技大学特聘教授，中南大学公共管理学院教授、博士生导师。国家社科重大首席专家【立项资助】、国家社科重大首席专家【滚动资助】。清华大学自动化系博士后（2014-2016），清华大学社会学系博士（2011-2014），美国芝加哥大学联合培养博士（2012-2013）。2016年清华大学自动化系博士后出站，担任中南大学公共管理学院教授。2018年入选湖南省“湖湘青年英才”，2018-2019韩国首尔大学访问学者。中国人工智能学会会员、中国系统工程学会会员、亚洲开发银行ADB 项目专家顾问、知名社会稳定风险评估专家。主要从大数据、自动化、社会学、物理学、经济博弈论、历史学、计算机编程等角度开展深度跨学科研究。研究方向集中在集群行为、群体事件、网络群体事件、系统动力学、多主体仿真、人类行为计算建模等。研究工具包括计算社会科学、统计建模与数据挖掘、社会科学仿真模拟、神经网络与机器学习、空间博弈论、大数据挖掘与可视化。2015 以来，先后主持国家社科基金重大项目、国家自科基金面上项目、北京自科基金青年项目、湖南智库重大委托项目、湖南社科基金重点项目、北京社科基金一般项目、中国博士科学基金项目等与企业横向委托项目。2014 年以来，先后参与科技部973计划、国家杰出青年基金、国家自科基金重点项目、国家社科基金重大项目等。2015 年以来，发表SCI/SSCI收录论文18篇，均为JCR一区(近三年最高)。其中，中科院 Top 期刊发表 6 篇顶级论文。获得软件著作权 15 项。
